Happy First Birthday Avery Grace!

On November 5th our baby girl turned one. This last year has flown by. Having a little girl has been lots of fun and a new learning experience for all of us. Avery is a joy to her dad and I and her big brothers adore her. We had a birthday party on November 9th. Maw Faye, Aunt Denise, Nana, Uncle Layton, Aunt Katie and Parker joined us for the fun.
Avery's Princess Cake from Lindy's Bakery in Spring. It was really cute and very yummy!

I am not sure if she liked the cake or playing in it the best

David and I got Avery a pink buggy. She loves for the boys to push her around the house.

Happy Halloween!!

Trick or Treat
Caleb and Megan were the two youngest (and slowest) trick or treaters of the neighborhood crew. They held hands and looked out for each other the entire time. It was very cute.

Storybook Parade

Caleb's preschool had their first storybook parade on halloween. The kids dress as their favorite character, parade around the school, and tell a little about their book. It was a lot of fun and really cute.

Pumpkin Carving

Random Pics as David carved the kids pumpkins. Avery also enjoyed her first chocolate chip cookie while she watched

Looking like her mama! (her smile, not the smeared cookie)

Our Visit to the Pumpkin Patch

We had a fun filled morning at the pumpkin patch Sunday. Dawson had a make up baseball game in the afternoon, so we were there first thing when they opened. The boys played on the slides, we rode the train, raced ducks, posed for pics, ate BBQ, and picked three pumpkins for our three little pumpkins.
I think I found it!
Finally a picture looking forward
Avery was amazed by the pumpkins

Parker Layton Gill

On October 15th at 3:00 PM my little brother Layton became a dad. I was honored to be in the room when Parker made his arrival and it was very special. Parker weighed in at 8 lbs 4 ozs and was 20 1/2 inches long. Katie had a rough go of it, but everyone is doing very well now. Avery is so cute with Parker. She loves dolls and thinks Parker is just a live version. The boys are happy to have another baby in the family and another cousin.

Caleb loves, loves, loves babies. He was so excited to be able to hold his new cousin and wanted to know when we were having a baby brother to go with his baby sister...sorry dude!

Our new favorite place...Incredible Pizza!

The boys were out of school for Columbus Day this year so we decided to do something fun. David took the morning off and we went to Incredible Pizza. The kids had a blast! (so did mom and dad)
